This 3-day women's canoe and yoga retreat promises to be a getaway to remember. Canoeing, yoga, soul sessions, campfires, delicious food, great women and the incredible beauty of the Algonquin Highlands...ARE YOU IN?
Breathtaking views, clear clean water, fresh air, the call of a loon...say YES to reconnecting with yourself and nature as we soak in one more weekend of summer on this women's wilderness retreat. Registrants (only 12 spaces available!) will paddle at a relaxing pace and portage to our picturesque campsite in the Algonquin Highlands on Gun Lake where we'll set up camp for both nights.
No experience? NO WORRIES--we've got you!
Professional wilderness canoe guide Samantha Gilchrist will coach us as we pack, paddle, portage and meal prep. Certified Yoga Instructor Nathania Bron will lead us in 4 yoga sessions to stretch our paddling muscles and encourage us to savour the sounds of nature during our moving meditations. Vanessa Slack will facilitate 3 introspective "soul sessions" providing opportunities for inspiration, support and connection--both with ourselves and one another.
All you need to bring is YOU (+ your clothes). We've got everything else covered...
GEAR: canoe (40lbs), paddle, PFD, Thermarest, sleeping bag, tent, backpack stove, cookware + utensils, campfire grill, bug spray, flashlight, chair, tarp, and poncho.
FOOD: 3 meals + 3 snacks EVERY DAY--planned, purchased and packed.
